Time for Steampunk

The Challenge

The Snarky Sisters are going punk, Steam Punk, that is!  This challenge is fun for some of the sisters, while others would rather have their teeth pulled.  Lucky for me, I am in the former group.

I decided to get painty with my project.  To begin, I glued down some metal letters and numbers that I have had forever.  Once I got into my metals bin, I realized that I hadn't been in ages, so I decided to add other bits to my card and I decided that the butterfly would be my image instead of a digital stamp I had downloaded. The other metal bits on my card are gears, clock hands, and the fuse embellishment.  The paints are Lumiere;  the glitter glass, micro beads, and stamps are from Finnabair (Prima).

Wanna play along and join the sisterhood?? Of course you do...here are the deets you need to know:

You have until 11:55 pm (EDT) on Friday October 2nd to upload your project.

Visit the blogs of my Snarky Sisters to show them some crafty lovin!

Here are our few "Rulez" and other things to keep in mind if you want to play along: Snarky FAQs

As always, thanks for stopping by!

I keep looking at this card, because there is so much to see that's amazing! Love the background, but using a spark plug as the body of that incredible butterfly? Pure genius!!

Amazing! Now, how is it that you can make a background like this and it looks fantastic, and if I made one the same way it would just look a mess?

The fuse element is genius. Perfect on the glittery, geary butterfly! Awesome background panel too. Totally in awe, sistah!
